I teach a synchronous (real-time) virtual course called Music Theory & Appreciation. Last year I spent several weeks trying to figure out how to teach this in a streaming application without being able to "write on the board." Finally, I had inspiration in the middle of the night (seriously, I got up at 3AM and worked for several hours). And now, I'm going to share it with you!
I've also got the Music Theory PPT file that includes many variations of blank music staves uploaded for your use. Feel free to edit however you need for your class.
Here is an example of another PowerPoint file that I spent a LOT of time on to teach the class about intervals. If you have the time, you can do this, otherwise just do the quick and easy "writing on the board" using a tablet and your finger!!
